Irrigon Jr/Sr High Construction
If you have been in Irrigon Jr/Sr High School lately, you may have noticed some construction work happening in the upper section of the building.
During routine HVAC work last summer it was discovered that the building has structural damage. After consultation with two independent engineering firms, we have installed the recommended temporary steel supports in key areas of the building. This will give the district time to work with engineers to develop a long-term solution for the building.
We do want to emphasize that the building has been and remains safe for use.
