MCSD will be closed on November 11th in observance of Veteran's Day. Veterans Day pays tribute to all American veterans - living or dead, but especially recognizes living veterans who served honorably during war or peacetime.

The Day of the Dead (el Día de los Muertos), is a Mexican holiday where families welcome back the souls of their deceased relatives for a brief reunion that includes food, drink and celebration. A blend of Mesoamerican ritual, European religion and Spanish culture, the holiday is celebrated each year from October 31-November 2.

Esta festividad mexicana consiste en que las familias dan la bienvenida a las almas de sus parientes fallecidos en una breve reunión en la que se ofrece comida, bebida y celebración. Esta festividad, que mezcla rituales mesoamericanos, religión europea y cultura española, se celebra del 31 de octubre al 2 de noviembre cada año.
La reunión del equipo de baloncesto masculino de la escuela secundaria tendrá lugar el lunes 3 de noviembre a las 2:45 en la biblioteca. Se invita a los atletas interesados a asistir.
