Morrow County School District celebrated its Crystal Apple Award winners at the "Excellence in Education" Awards banquet on Monday, May 11.
Tina Crowell is a school-based counselor at Windy River Elementary.
Jennifer Pope is an English Language Learners (ELL) teacher at A.C. Houghton Elementary.
Stefanie Spivey is a social studies teacher at Heppner Jr./Sr. High School.
Dave Fowler was presented with the Legacy Award this year. Dave is a Manufacturing teacher at Heppner Jr./Sr. High School. Having taught at the school for 37 years, his commitment to high-quality instruction, paired with his dedication to students, has helped build a strong Technology and Manufacturing program at the school. Thank you for your years of steadfast service to the Morrow County School District.

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week, and four amazing educators from the Morrow County School District were named Crystal Apple Award winners this year. They will be recognized at the 2026 Crystal Apple Awards on May 11, 2026.
Tina Crowell, Jennifer Pope, and Stefanie Spivey received the Crystal Apple Award. Dave Fowler was a Legacy Award recipient this year, due to his many years of dedicated service to Heppner Jr./Sr. High School.
